‘She Has Blood On Her Hands’: Video Shows Arrest Of Saritha Ramaraju, 48-Year-Old Mum, After Allegedly Slitting Son’s Throat.

The mother who is accused of cutting her 11-year-old son’s throat after a Disneyland excursion is seen in a terrifying video being detained while her hands are covered in blood.

According to police bodycam footage obtained by Law & Crime, Saritha Ramaraju, 48, casually approached police officers with their firearms drawn on the deck of a motel in California while holding a phone to her ear. She appeared distant.

The stunned mother surrenders without a struggle and moves meekly in the direction of the police.

According to the video, one of the arresting policemen remarks, “She has blood on her hands,” as they put her in handcuffs.

According to the Orange County District Attorney’s Office, Ramaraju allegedly killed her 11-year-old son, Yatin Ramaraju, following their three-day trip to Disneyland last week and then took drugs in what appeared to be an attempt to end her own life.

After calling 911 and confessing to the killing on March 19, Yatin was discovered on the bed at the Santa Ana La Quinta Inn & Suites, surrounded by Disney mementoes from their vacation, according to the prosecution.

It looked like the boy had been dead for a few hours.

According to officials, she told police over the phone that she had already taken an unknown quantity of medications, which may have contributed to her zombie-like appearance in the bodycam film.

One count of murder and one count of personally using a deadly weapon were brought against Ramaraju.

On April 17, she is expected to appear in Orange County court.
