I Want To Be More Mellow And Soft Spoken – Odumeje

Popular Anambra-based clergyman, Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, widely known as Odumeje, has announced a shift from his well-known dramatic style of preaching to a calmer, more mellow approach.

During a recent worship service with his congregation, Odumeje explained the reason behind this transformation. According to him, his days of vibrant and radical evangelism are now behind him, as age is beginning to catch up with him.

“I am no longer the young man I used to be. The energy I had back then isn’t the same anymore,” he said, adding that his former style was something he invented during his younger years.

Odumeje, who gained popularity for his theatrical sermons and unique expressions such as “Indaboski,” said he now wants to take a softer route in his ministry. He expressed his desire to be seen in a new light by his followers.

“I want to be more mellow now, soft-spoken, so that my members can start calling me ‘papa,’” the preacher shared.
