A 26-year-old woman, Omorogbe Jennifer Soni ‘f,’ has been charged by the Lagos State Police Command for severe assault after video of her assaulting a police officer in Ajah on February 21, 2024, surfaces online.
FMTBLOG gathered that the 26-year-old woman, Omorogbe, engaged in a heated argument with the police officer.
In the heat of the argument, Omorogbe pushed the police officer to the ground.
According to a statement made by the command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, Omorogbe was arraigned the next day, February 22, 2024, in the Etiosa Magistrate Court in Ajah and remanded to the Kirikiri Female Correctional Centre until the next hearing on March 27, 2024.
‘’The Lagos State Police Command advices Lagosians to remain law-abiding in their day-to-day activities with all and sundry as anyone found guilty of violating the law would be dealt with in accordance with the law.” Hundeyin said
