Over the weekend, an adult film star was discovered dead, some months after she made charges of abuse and sexual harassment in the sex industry.
Thaina Fields, 24, was discovered dead at her home in Trujillo, Peru, on Saturday, January 6, according to La Repblica, citing an interview with fellow adult content creator Alejandra Sweet.
“I can’t give any more details because I’m saddened by the news,” Sweet, a close friend of Fields’s, told the site.
Sweet also addressed Fields’ death in a Q&A on her Instagram account.
“Guys, I will only tell you to pray for her, the people who truly appreciated her and not only saw her out of pure morbidity. From where she is, I am sure she is a little angel,” she wrote to her followers.

The 24-year-old p0rnstar Thaina Fields had 225,000 TikTok followers before her death. Milky Per, one of the production firms she worked with, also lamented her death.
“We can’t believe this; we refuse to be without you; we would like to see you again,” read a statement on the company’s official Instagram account.
“We hope someone wakes us from this bad dream; you will always be in our hearts. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your life,” the tribute added.
Fields, whose real first name was Abigail, said sexual harassment in the adult film industry was “very strong” eight months before her death.
“I have suffered sexual harassment and abuse after starting to create adult content,” she said at the time.
“At first … many thought that by hiring me, they could do what they wanted with me, but then I came home, took a bath, and cried,” she continued.
“It happened to me many times. It is tough to be a woman and create adult content when society is literally in s–t,” the pornstar explained.
