In anticipation of the Samsung One UI 6.1 update that brings all the ultimate Galaxy AI experience into your phone, the tech giant have dropped a hint on the older Galaxy phones that won’t be getting the update.
The Samsung One UI 6.1 has sparked a lot reactions online since its inception on the new Samsung Galaxy s24, but recently confirmed that the Galaxy AI features won’t be distributed to existing Galaxy phones older than 2023.
Mid-range phones that won’t be getting the ultimate Galaxy AI features includes; Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Flip 4.
I understand this might come as a huge dissatisfaction for many users especially with the above-mentioned flagships.
On the other hand, the following Galaxy devices that would be getting Galaxy AI features with One UI 6.1 update includes; Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Tab S9 series, and Galaxy S23 FE. For now, only 9 devices are expected to receive AI features, while One UI 6.1 is coming to more models.
