WhatsApp has been developing a feature for a while now that lets other users control channels like we do with groups.
But now that the option to transfer channel ownership has finally been made available via WhatsApp, consumers can enjoy a better experience, and the channel owner can finally relax.
WhatsApp Channels function as a one-way broadcasting platform that lets administrators share various content, including polls, stickers, images, videos, and text messages.
As a result, thanks to this new innovation, more users will now be able to contribute to the channel and exchange material.

The most recent version of WhatsApp, 2.24.2.17, adds a new feature to the channel settings screen that lets the current owner of the channel start the transfer process by choosing a new owner from the list of qualified users; however, this option is only available if the other party grants your requests.
The new owner will take over all administrative control over the channel, including the capacity to modify channel settings and information, as soon as they approve the transfer request.
Interestingly, the owner can also remove content from the channel, fire other administrators, or even erase the channel altogether.
That said, some WhatsApp beta testers who install the most recent updates can now transfer channel ownership. Consequently, it will open up to further users in the upcoming days or weeks.
