The wife of the Detained Binance Executive, Yuki Gambaryan, has taken a step further towards securing her husband’s release and recalled that Tigran Gambaryan, a Binance executive, was arrested by the Nigerian government a few days ago; read here.
Mrs Yuki involved the United of America Government to intervene to ensure her husband was released.
Congresswoman Sara Jacobs and US Senator Cory Booker led a delegation to President Bola Tinubu at the State House, where Yuki made her plea.
She questioned the government’s choice to hold her husband accountable for his employer’s actions in the absence of proof and voiced concern over his protracted incarceration without official charges.

“My husband is being held as blackmail, and I urge the Nigerians to release Tigran and pursue their investigation with Binance through proper channels.”
Due to alleged rights violations, Gambaryan filed a lawsuit against Nuhu Ribadu, the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and the National Security Adviser (NSA).
Nadeem Anjarwalla, upon his release from detention, filed a different lawsuit.
The Nigerian authorities imprisoned Gambaryan and Anjarwalla in February on charges of financial misconduct and other related offences.
