A Federal High Court in Abuja has postponed the tax evasion case against Binance Holdings Limited and its executives.
The Federal Inland Revenue Service has taken the business to court for tax evasion.
Tigran Gambaryan, a corporate official, and the fugitive Nadeem Anjarwalla have also joined the lawsuit.
In the FHC/ABJ/CR/115/2024 court proceedings, Binance was accused of neglecting to register with the FIRS to pay the appropriate taxes managed by the service.
The FIRS further claimed that despite selling taxable services to subscribers through its trading platform, the business neglected to generate invoices to assess and pay Value Added Taxes.

The case was delayed on Thursday after the FIRS could not serve Gambaryan with the charges while in EFCC custody.
The EFCC’s alleged money laundering case is now continuing.
