Samsung strongly looks forward to the Android 15-based One UI 7 OS update.
The company is taking a breather after almost finishing the One UI 6.1 rollout. Unfortunately, some Galaxy smartphones are out of the race for the anticipated Samsung One UI 7. In this blog post, you will know the unsupported devices for the upcoming version.
With the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung offers seven years of important OS updates and security patches. Previously, it stuck with the promise of giving four years of significant updates and five years of security fixes.
With this promise, some of the Galaxy devices have finished their four-year period, and finally, they are out of the race to receive any significant new updates.
That’s the reason why a bundle of Galaxy smartphones is unsuitable for the One UI 7 (Android 15) update.
Check out the list below to see if your device is named on the list;
One UI 7 Unsupported Device List
- Galaxy A04s
- Galaxy A13
- Galaxy A23
- Galaxy A72
- Galaxy A52
- Galaxy A52 5G
- Galaxy A52s
- Galaxy M53 5G
- Galaxy M33 5G
- Galaxy M23
- Galaxy F23
However, Samsung has not officially introduced the One UI 7 ineligible smartphone, so the company will likely add additional devices.
Samsung has already begun internal One UI 7 beta testing for the Galaxy S4, which might be released in August.

However, it has recently been revealed that Samsung will be unable to deploy One UI 7 as soon as possible since it prioritises the Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 release.
One UI 7 will have hundreds of new noticeable modifications, upgrades, and features, such as AI-powered tools to simplify your daily work. If your handset is on the list above, consider upgrading your smartphone.
