Court Slams VeryDarkMan N500M To Be Paid To Femi Falana (SAN), And His Son Falz, Over Bobrisky Saga
The Lagos State High Court has demanded that social media activist Martin Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, take down defamatory posts aimed at the attorney and human rights advocate Femi Falana and his rapper son, Folarin, aka Falz.

Moreover, the court has passed a ruling for VeryDarkMan to pay a significant compensation fee of N500 million to both Femi Falana and Folarin for character defamation, as explained in the initial lawsuit bundle.
This decree is part of a legal procedure in response to Otse’s statements, which were perceived as potentially damaging to the reputations of both Falanas.

According to Dawodu, “The applicants (Falz and Falana) argue that the defendant (VeryDarkMan) intentionally published these false claims (about Bobrisky) aiming to tarnish their reputation.
Moreover, as long as these slanderous claims continue to circulate on the defendant’s multiple online platforms, the damage to their reputation persists.”
