APC Chieftain slumps and dies while watching the first AFCON 2023 semi-final match between Nigerian and South African

APC Chieftain, identified as Cairo Ojougboh, collapses and dies while watching the AFCON semi-final match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and Bafana Bafana of South Africa.

The former member of the House of Representatives, who represented Ika Federal Constituency of Delta State, reportedly collapsed while watching the Super Eagles/South Africa match yesterday.

According to a reliable source that confirmed the unfortunate incident to FMTBLOG, said that the deceased, before his demise, was watching the semifinal match with other patriotic Nigerians on Wednesday, 7th February 2024.

The statement reads;

“As soon as a penalty kick was awarded against Nigeria during the AFCON match with South Africa on Wednesday’s semifinal clash in Bouake, Ivory Coast, he slumped,” a source privy to the incident told LEADERSHIP on Thursday.
