The funeral date for the late Nollywood Actor and comedian John Okafor, also known as Mr Ibu, has been confirmed by his family.
Something like this was written on a paper signed by Mr. Ibu’s older brother, Elder Sunday Okafor.
Ibu’s family said he will be buried in his hometown of Eziokwe Amuri in the Nkanu West local government area of Enugu State on June 28, 2024.
On Tuesday, June 25, a high-profile novelty match will start the burial celebration. On Wednesday, June 26, a session called “Mr. Ibu’s Night” would include a candlelight procession and live entertainment.
A Christian Wake will be held at his home in Eziokwe Amuri, Nkanu West LGA, on June 27. The funeral service will be held on June 28.
The five-day funeral will end on Sunday, June 30, with a Church Thanksgiving for family, friends, and people who want to show their support.
