After Meta approved the content creator’s ability to earn money, Nigeria is officially eligible for Facebook content monetization beginning Thursday, June 27.

Many content creators rushed to Facebook to celebrate the announcement after getting the approval on their dashboard.

The upshot is that content creators in Nigeria can now receive advertising money from Meta, as opposed to before.

Nigerian Facebook creators can make money from ad income now that the nation is qualified. On Thursday, June 27, Meta, Facebook’s parent company, marked Nigeria with a blue tick on the professional dashboard.

Previously, content creators with Nigerian addresses were only eligible for Facebook monetization if their page administration was headquartered in an approved nation.

Following the update, Nigerian producers may now monetize their work and make money via Facebook in-stream advertisements, live commercials, ads on reels, bonuses, and subscriptions.

Some content creators took to Facebook to celebrate the news as a massive success for Nigeria.
