Google Sets To Release Built-in Satellite Messaging Feature, Likely On Android 15
Google is set to release a built-in satellite messaging feature with a leak peak on the latest beta version of Android 14, which is likely to surface on Android 15.
FMTBLOG gathered through the Android Authority report that the Android beta version now shows the leak of the feature “Satellite Messaging.”
This latest innovation by Google will enable users to send and receive text messages by satellite.
With this latest satellite messaging feature, users can benefit from it by contacting anyone, even when they don’t have a data or Wi-Fi connection.

The feature would support 2 to 4MB of data transmission antennas per cell area.
