A lady user on X has claimed that the Gbagada General Hospital swapped her sister’s newborn baby and exchanged it with another baby, thereby sharing a photograph of the baby to support her claim.
The user on X, @Aggie_lawlaah, narrated how her sister began to develop symptoms on December 1st and was induced two days later upon giving birth.
Her baby was experiencing difficulty breathing and was promptly transferred to the NICU.
The child’s father was summoned to sign a test form for the infant, but the name on the form was incorrect and he raised concerns.
Two days later, on December 5, they were informed that their infant had died and were presented with a note without a name on it.

Upon reaching the hospital morgue and being presented with their infant, they noticed that the name affixed to the child’s body was “Adefisan baby”, whereas their own infant is Okolie.
She is now requesting the involvement of authorities in the investigation of the incident, indicating that her sister is experiencing trauma due to this being her first child.
