The elections, initially scheduled to carry on March 11, has been postponed to March 18, 2023.
The postponement is as a result of incapacity of the fee to promptly begin reconfiguration of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) machines utilized in the course of the February 25 presidential election to allow their use within the state elections.
