Ronaldo, a Brazilian football legend, has chimed in on the argument over whether Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi is the greatest player of his generation.

According to his exclusive interview on Mail Sport this weekend, the two-time World Cup winner endorses Messi over Ronaldo.

Recall that the Brazilian legend had previously endorsed the Argentine Lionel Messi.

In October, before the Ballon d’Or event, Ronaldo stated that the former Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain player earned the prize after helping Argentina win the 2022 World Cup.

‘The Ballon d’Or should belong to him [Lionel Messi], without a doubt,’ he stated.

‘What Messi did at the World Cup was exceptional. It reminded me of Pelé and Maradona’s promotions.
