Wade Venture, 37, acquired the storage container at an auction, unaware of the riches within.
When he eventually opened it, he discovered the box was filled with £56,000 worth of stylish brand clothing.
There were 400 pairs of high-end shoes from luxury names such as Gucci and Coach and £6,380 in expensive fur jackets and other brand-new goods with price tags still attached.
Wade, who posts his findings on social media under the handle @wadesventures, reckoned the stockpile was worth a stunning £56k in total.
He noted, “It’s unusual to find a unit like that in particular; usually, you find household items or trash.” It’s more than likely she had a shopping problem—people suspected she was hiding it from her spouse!”
Wade purchased the flat on March 27 for a measly £325 despite having no idea what was in store.
He has previously purchased 400-500 pieces, with most of his proceeds going to charity, so he is not easily surprised. Nonetheless, even with his experienced eye, this haul surprised him.
He said, “People assume I’ve been doing this for so long that I’ve seen everything, but I’ve never seen a unit like this before.

“Normally, I find stuff 30% new and 70% old, but everything was brand new. I was taken aback by how amazing the event was. Units like these are extremely rare and unusual.”
Wade added: “There were expensive Gucci shoes and purchases; she might not have the money. “Or she could have died.”
