Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra users are receiving a new software update with an April 2024 security patch to improve system security and stability. The upgrade is based on Android 14 and One UI 6.0 for the Galaxy S21 series; expect the One UI 6.1 release soon.
The April 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S21 series is now available in select European countries, and the company plans to expand its availability to additional nations soon.

The April 2024 security patch details contain fixes from Google and Samsung to address vulnerabilities and issues. Google addresses one critical and 26 high-level CVEs in the Android operating system.
In addition, Samsung has resolved 17 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) issues to improve security. It resolves problems with the Storage Manager Service, out-of-bounds writes, and more.
To check for software updates manually, navigate to your phone’s Settings. At the bottom, you’ll see the Software Update section; open it. Select the Download and Install option within the submenu if your Galaxy receives a fresh OTA.
