Samsung Galaxy Watch 7, a successor of the recently thriving watch 6, is set to go live in the market after getting a massive certification boost from Indonesia’s telecom.
Samsung may unveil a new range of smartwatches at the Unpacked event the following month. Meanwhile, Indonesia Telecom certified Samsung’s next Galaxy Watch 7. It verifies that the smartwatch, which debuted at Unpacked, will be available in Indonesia.
According to Indonesia Telecom, the Galaxy Watch 7 has the SM-L300 model number. There will be four distinct sizes and network options for the smartwatch. The model numbers SM-L305 and SM-L315 may be LTE connection variations, whereas SM-L300 and SM-L310 belong to WiFi-only models.
Other than the model number, no specifications or features are disclosed by the certification. Nevertheless, earlier rumours said that 15W wireless charging would be supported by the Watch 7. Performance and power efficiency will also be improved by using the company’s first 3nm Exynos processor.
Galaxy Watch Ultra
At the event, Samsung will also introduce its first Galaxy Watch Ultra in addition to Standard and Classis. The smartwatch will feature a large battery for extended use, similar to the Watch 5 Pro. For sea divers, it will have enhanced water and dust resistance characteristics.

The Ultra model would have a more durable structure with the same circular battery housed inside a squarish frame. The Korean tech giant hopes to challenge Apple’s Watch Ultra product lineup by adding the Ultra model to its Galaxy Watch portfolio.
