With One UI 7 Beta’s release date quickly approaching, Samsung has started informing users of forthcoming changes and additions to their current Galaxy phones.
Samsung recently confirmed the removal of three features from the Camera app in One UI 7 with Notices.
In the One UI 7 pre-release teaser, Samsung will remove three functions from the AR Zone on the Camera app. The features are:
Deco Photo, Quick Measure, AR Doodle.
So, if you’re already using one of these features on your phone, you’ll see that they’ll be taken off Camera.
Fortunately, Samsung’s One UI 7 has separate apps for this functionality.
Samsung is separating off some of your past AR features. In One UI 7, AR Doodle, Quick Measure, and Deco Pic will be detached from the Camera app and provided as standalone apps.
You can download them from the Samsung Galaxy Store. This gives the consumer more liberty to download and use what they want.
Galaxy Avatar
Samsung also confirmed the renaming of the AR Emoji feature to Galaxy Avatar with One UI 7 as well. The Galaxy Avatar can now be accessed through Settings > Advanced features. This should give users an additional way to articulate themselves and offer more customization options.
One UI 7 Beta
One UI 7 Beta is just around the corner, at least from various leaks. Samsung recently released a new version of its Samsung Members app, meaning the One UI 7 Beta Program will begin soon.
We have also identified some hidden buttons on the new app that provide information on how to sign up, enroll, and exit the beta program.
