Sonia Ighalo, the former spouse of professional footballer Jude Ighalo, has recently clarified their relationship status.
Taking to her Instagram page, Sonia shared an update, revealing that they initially separated in 2019 and reconciled in 2021 but ultimately finalised their divorce in 2022, despite the absence of Ighalo’s signature on the divorce papers.
According to the estranged Super Eagles forward, Sonia Ighalo, her ex-husband, attempted to reconcile with her.
Still, she ultimately decided to end the relationship for good when he expressed a desire to keep their reunion a secret from his mother.
In light of this revelation, Sonia took the final step of terminating their union.
Interestingly, Sonia also disclosed that she has entered a new romantic relationship. This announcement came just one hour after her previous update.
