Nigerian Sensational Islamic Singer, Rukayat Gawat Passed Away

Rukayat Gawat Oyefeso, a renowned Nigerian Islamic singer, has succumbed to her death.

The announcement of her passing was made by Alfa Aribidesi At-Tawdeeh, a cleric based in Ilorin, via his official Facebook page on Tuesday morning.

Jubril Aawat, a media assistant to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos state, has also shared a concise tweet on X, stating “Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, we will return. Q 2 V 156.”

Rukayat is renowned for her captivating voice, which resonates strongly with many in the Muslim community.
