Police arrest suspected armed robber terrorising Delta group

Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested a suspected armed robber/cultist, Kingsley Vejeta, who has been terrorising a group in Ughelli North Native Authorities Space of the state. 

Spokesperson of the command, DSP Vibrant Edafe, who disclosed this in an announcement on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, mentioned manhunt is on to arrest different fleeing gang members. 

“On the 23/02/2023 at about 2230hrs, operatives of Agbarho Division led by DSP Habu Haman acquired credible details about a suspected armed robber/cultist generally known as Kingsley Vejeta ‘m’ of Ekrerhavwe group, Agbarho, who has been terrorizing Agbarho, in Ughelli and environs,” the assertion learn.

“The operatives, in a mixed effort with the group vigilantes, stormed his hideout and arrested the mentioned suspect. Through the course of investigation and interrogation of the suspect, he made helpful assertion and at about 0230 hours, he led the Police to the hideout of his different gang members at Ekrehavwe, Agbarho in Ughelli North LGA the place on sighting the Police, they took to their heels. 

“Seven (7) regionally made cut-to-size weapons, and 4 (4) dwell cartridges had been recovered. Manhunt for the opposite fleeing suspects is ongoing.”
