Storey building collapses in Ogun with no life reportedly lost
A story building collapsed in Ogijo, Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun state at about 7 am today June 8. Thankfully no life was lost in the event.
FMT BLOG gathered according to a source, that the uncompleted building located around PZ Estate, Onijagun, caved in without giving any sign.
Eyewitnesses say the building which has been built to the covering stage, had been abandoned for over 10 years and had given temporary housing to some motorcycle riders before they were sent away for causing threats to the community.
While the reason for the building’s fall cannot be proven yet, it may be related to the weakness of the structure having been abandoned for long.
