With this latest update, owners of Galaxy Watches can now get real-time solar system information. Every planet revolves at a speed different from Earth around its axis and the sun.

Furthermore, each planet’s day and year durations vary from Earth’s, contingent on how quickly or slowly they revolve about our home planet, even though time, as a fourth dimension, is comparatively constant across our solar system.

All of it is made clear by this new watch face. In addition to providing users with their “Earth time,” the Galaxy Watch may give details on the unique rhythms of nearby planets.

Samsung claims in a recent release that the new watch face, Galaxy Time, achieves a high degree of precision because of its measurements and partnership with ESA.

Galaxy Time details all eight planets orbiting the sun, including Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Uranus. The planets range from Mercury to Neptune.

Every planet has a dial indicating whether the time passes faster or slower than our 24-hour clock. Furthermore, the watch face offers details like the separations between Earth and the Sun, the number of moons on neighboring planets, their planetary seasons, and their precise locations within the solar system.

According to Samsung, Galaxy Time works with any Galaxy Watch running Wear OS, which implies models four and up. The watch face is said to have launched on the Google Play Store on March 31; however, regional availability may vary.
