Dayo Adewunmi, a veteran Nollywood actor known as Sule Suebebe, has died.

The Yoruba top actor died in the early hours of Wednesday at an unidentified hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State’s capital.

Pastor Ademola Amusan, a.k.a. Agbala Gabriel, a prominent Ibadan-based pastor, revealed the news of his death on Wednesday. The late actor had been in his care for several months.

Agbala Gabriel announced Suebebe’s death on his Facebook page, writing, “It’s a pity, Baba Suebebe died at the hospital this morning.” May his lovely soul rest in complete peace.

An unexplained illness led the late actor into contact with Pastor Amusan, who solicited funds for the deceased through his humanitarian outreach project on Facebook.
