Margaret, a pregnant woman, was cruelly raped by an unidentified six-man armed gang while she was working on her farm.

Residents of Kadiri, Keana Local Government Area, in Nassarawa State, were left in a state of shock and terror following the occurrence that happened on Friday, July 12.

Margaret described her experience, saying she was on the property with her husband when the armed group—possibly militia—appeared.

They both attempted to run, but because of her condition, she was unable to get away and collapsed on the floor.

Then the armed guys alternated raping her until she was wounded and barely conscious, and then they left her.

The victim, Margaret, needed medical assistance and was sent to the hospital.

The community, primarily farmers, has pleaded with the government to act quickly and bring to justice the perpetrators of such grave acts against innocent victim.
