Tension In Jos As Hyena Escapes Wildlife Park, What To Do Now?
The Plateau State Tourism Corporation (PSTC) has revealed the disappearance of a hyena that escaped its cage at Jos Wildlife Park.
The firm released a statement on Monday in Jos after the animal was discovered missing.

According to NAN, the Jos Wildlife Park is one of the Plateau’s most popular tourist destinations and a location in Nigeria where wildlife has been preserved.

The park’s administration issued a preventive action to protect the people and aid in capturing the animal.
“The hyena is currently being tracked by our dedicated team of game guards and park rangers with the assistance of drone technology.
“We assure the public that we are taking all necessary measures to locate the escaped animal and ensure its safe return to its enclosure soonest.
“We kindly request the public to remain calm and avoid any approach to the hyena if sighted and you can kindly notify the park authorities immediately on 09026927620 and 09131000945.
“We thank you for your cooperation and promise to update the public as soon as the situation is resolved,” it stated.
