All iPhone 16 Models Now Have 8GB Of RAM Compared To Samsung S24Ultra’s 12GB: What Do You Think?
Every iPhone 16 model now features 8GB of RAM, according to a recent report in collaboration with MacRumors and iSWUpdates. The specific RAM capacity of iPhones is typically kept under wraps by Apple, making this revelation interesting.

The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max maintain the same RAM size as their predecessors. However, the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus have been upgraded with an additional 2GB of RAM compared to the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15.
New RAM upgrade:
- iPhone 16: 8GB
- iPhone 16 Plus: 8GB
- iPhone 16 Pro: 8GB
- iPhone 16 Pro Max: 8GB

Previous RAM Integration:
- iPhone 15: 6GB
- iPhone 15 Plus: 6GB
- iPhone 15 Pro: 8GB
- iPhone 15 Pro Max: 8GB

This increase could be why the iPhone 15 variants won’t be able to access the new Apple Intelligence feature, while the iPhone 16 versions will when it launches in October.
Pre-orders for the entire iPhone 16 range will start on Friday, September 13, with sales kick-starting a week later, on September 20.
