”Are We Under A Curse?, God Raised Dangote To Build Refinery, Yet They Want To Stop Him From Selling- RCCG G.O Pastor Adeboye
According to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, God inspired Aliko Dangote, a businessman and industrialist, to found the ‘Dangote Refinery’ in Nigeria.
However, the charismatic preacher claimed that an oil cabal in Nigeria is conspiring with international oil companies (IOCs) to prevent the operation of private refineries such as Dangote Petroleum Refinery.
According to him, speaking at the November 2024 Abuja Special Holy Ghost service, Adeboye challenged Nigerians to petition God against the actions of unscrupulous oil marketers who tried to bring distress to Nigerians.
As reported by FMT BLOG, Adeboye stated that these oil marketers are already at work trying to derail the refinery after similar sabotage incidents have occurred at Nigeria’s four state refineries.
The general manager of RCCG reminded the public that it was God who inspired Aliko Dangote to set up a refinery in response to repeated attempts to rejuvenate the country’s four public refineries, which had reportedly wasted billions of Naira with little effect.
He also questioned why Nigeria remains dependent on fuel imports, even though the country produces crude oil in large quantities.
“Are we under a curse?” Pastor Adeboye asked.
“We have four refineries; we poured all kinds of money into them, and none of them is working.
“But God raised someone to build a refinery that works. He is not my relative; he is not from my village.
