A 34-year-old Nigerian man named Ifeanyi Obi died in his apartment in Birmingham, UK. His final wish, according to his closest friends, was to be back in Nigeria with his family.

To help get him back home and have his funeral in his hometown, Ojoto, in Anambra State, his friends have created GoFundMe.

They are asking for donations to finance these expenses.

Friends remembered Ifeanyi for his wit, charity, generosity, and influence on others. His sudden passing has rattled his family.

That unfortunate accident was attested by the founder of the Nigerians in the UK Community, Oluomo of Derby. In a cryptic tweet, he posted, “With sorrow, we announce the death of Ifeanyi Obi.

We need money urgently to bring him home to say our final goodbyes. We appreciate your generosity, however small, as we will need it in this trying time.

The entire village mourns Foreanyi’s passing and hopes that his final wish will be to return him home.
