Panic As Passenger Attempts To Open Emergency Exit Door Of A Plane Mid-Flight (VIDEO)

On a trip to South Korea, a man caused panic when he tried to open the emergency door while the plane was in the air. A dramatic video shows flight attendants grappling with him.

On November 7, the suspect, who has not been named, was on Korean Air flight KE658 from Bangkok, Thailand, to Incheon, South Korea. It was said that they sat in a cabin crew spot without permission.

He apparently threatened the air hostess when she told him to leave, even though she had told him that he might have been breaking Korea’s Aviation Security Act.

Crew members rushed to stop the man, who reportedly grabbed the door latch and tried to open it, as seen in the video.

It was reported that the man was acting aggressively and making threats. The crew was able to restrain him and take him to a different area to calm down.

The Airbus A330-300, which had 238 people on board, arrived on time at Seoul’s Incheon International Airport at 4:45 a.m.

The man was given to the police at Incheon International Airport so they could look into it.

Korean Air said in a statement: “The incident was handled according to our established security measures to prioritise passenger safety and operational integrity.

“Even though the situation was temporarily under control, we will help the authorities look into what happened.”

“Korean Air maintains a zero-tolerance approach to behaviours that compromise aviation safety and will continue to respond decisively to such incidents.”
