Pastor Tobi Adegboyega Opens Up On Why He Shun The ‘Orthodox’ Church Tradition (VIDEO)
Pastor Tobi Adegboyega of SPAC Nation opened up about his calling and motivations for setting up his church in a heretical manner.
The preacher, reportedly facing deportation from the UK for alleged fraud, appeared on Channels TV Politics Today on Monday evening, December 16.
When asked how he received his calling to be a pastor, he explained that he grew up as the son of a preacher and began preaching at the age of eight.
He stated that when he arrived in the UK in 2005, he witnessed a lot of gang activity with young Nigerians armed with knives in Peckham, so he decided to intervene to get youngsters off the streets and give them a purpose in life.
He stated that a calling is about meeting the needs of a generation, which he has done since moving to the UK in 2005.
When the host questioned what he thought about his church being managed unconventionally, Adegboyega responded that it may be unconventional, but what counts is that it is effective. He stated that his leadership has had a significant impact on many children.

He said that even the Pentecostal church was considered unorthodox when it first started.
