A Nigerian man startled many by sharing a story on social media about a woman who purportedly suffered a stroke while holding contribution money, leaving her unable to speak or grasp a pen.
In a message on the popular platform X (previously Twitter), the individual revealed that a person he knows who was in charge of collecting the money had a stroke and can now not speak or manage the money.
He wrote, “One reason why I don’t participate in contributions: the one I know on my street, the person holding the money, was struck by a stroke and couldn’t talk. No one could ask her for money until she passed away.”
The man further added that, until the woman’s death, no one was able to request the contribution money due to her condition.
