South African Man, 28, Arrested for Impregnating 13-Year-Old Girl (PHOTOS)

Ditebogo Frans Gololo, 28, was arrested in Polokwane, Limpopo province, South Africa, after impregnating a 13-year-old girl.

Gololo appeared in Seshego Magistrates’ Court on Monday, December 30, 2024, charged with statutory rape and sexual grooming of a minor.

According to a statement from the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA), Gololo impregnated the youngster in Seshego Township.

According to sources, the victim and the suspect met in a Seshego shopping complex in January 2024 and began communicating before becoming intimate in May 2024.

The girl only told her aunt about the encounter after experiencing issues. In November 2024, medical testing indicated she was eight months pregnant, giving birth to a baby boy on Christmas Day, December 25, 2024.

The police were informed of the event, and the suspect was apprehended by the Seshego Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offences Unit on Thursday, December 26, 2024.

The docket will be referred to the Director of Public Prosecutions for instructions.

The case was rescheduled for bail application and additional investigation on January 8, 2025, in Seshego Magistrate’s Court.

Gololo was ordered to remain in jail.
