ISIS terrorists in Somalia eliminated in Trump-ordered airstrike
In a bold move, US President Donald Trump gave the order for an airstrike that led to the elimination of ISIS terrorists in Somalia.
The attack that took place on February 1 targeted a high-ranking member of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, who had previously posed a threat to America.
The president announced that the airstrike was successful in not only taking out the senior ISIS figure but also his collaborators who had taken refuge in caves in Somalia.
The strike resulted in the destruction of the caves and the eradication of the insurgents.
In his post on X, President Trump made it clear that the US is ready to defend itself against any threat posed by ISIS or other terrorists.
He wrote, “This morning, I ordered precision military airstrikes on the senior ISIS attack planner and other terrorists he recruited and led in Somalia.
“These killers, who we found hiding in caves, threatened the United States and our allies.
“The strikes destroyed the caves they lived in and killed many terrorists without, in any way, harming civilians.
“Our military has targeted this ISIS attack planner for years, but Biden and his cronies wouldn’t act quickly enough to get the job done. I did!
“The message to ISIS and all others who would attack Americans is this: ‘We will find you, and we will kill you.”
He detailed how the military airstrike was specifically targeted to avoid civilian casualties.
Taking a bold stand, Trump stated that previous attempts to target this ISIS planner under the Biden administration did not yield the desired results.
He emphasised that his administration was able to accomplish this task effectively.
Addressing ISIS and other potential threats to the US, President Trump delivered a stern warning: “We will find you, and we will kill you.”
