WhatsApp To Rollout Unified Call Menu For Chats & Groups
WhatsApp’s latest beta release for Android includes a new Call Menu feature. The new upgrade, identified as version 2.25.5.21, is presently being tested by some users, making WhatsApp calls easier and more versatile.
WhatsApp’s latest Beta update includes a new call menu, replacing traditional voice and video call buttons. Both solo and group chats now feature a single call button.
In individual chats, this button displays a voice call icon, and when you tap it, a menu appears with the option of establishing a voice or video call. There’s also a new shortcut for creating and sharing a call link, which makes it easier to ask others to join your call.
The latest update allows you to select individual participants to call in a group rather than calling everyone all at once. This new menu will improve the user experience of WhatsApp calls and provide consumers more control over their calls.
Some WhatsApp beta testers who installed the most recent version now have access to the new call menu. It is being rolled out gradually, and more users will gain access to it in the coming weeks.
The call button displays a video call icon for group conversations, but you can still make a phone call using the new menu. Voice calling, video calling, selecting people, and sending call links are all possibilities on the group call menu.
