In individual chats, this button displays a voice call icon, and when you tap it, a menu appears with the option of establishing a voice or video call. There’s also a new shortcut for creating and sharing a call link, which makes it easier to ask others to join your call.
The latest update allows you to select individual participants to call in a group rather than calling everyone all at once. This new menu will improve the user experience of WhatsApp calls and provide consumers more control over their calls.
Some WhatsApp beta testers who installed the most recent version now have access to the new call menu. It is being rolled out gradually, and more users will gain access to it in the coming weeks.
