Love Ogah, daughter of the well-known Nigerian pastor and founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has shared a surprising story of how her father survived an attempted assassination many years ago.

Speaking during a recent church sermon, Love Ogah told the congregation how a group of assassins came to their home while she was still in secondary school. According to her, the men boldly declared that they came to kill Bishop Oyedepo and searched the entire house looking for him.

She recalled, “The assassins came and said they came to kill my father. They searched everywhere, room to room, but couldn’t find him.”

Ogah said the family watched in shock as the men moved around the house. Despite their efforts, they couldn’t locate Bishop Oyedepo. Strangely, after the attackers left, her father stepped out and revealed that he had been there the entire time, watching them.

“My father said he saw them the whole time — they just couldn’t see him. All of us were looking like it was a film trick,” she added.

According to her, Bishop Oyedepo believed it was a supernatural intervention. He maintained that while he was physically present in the house, the assassins were spiritually blinded and unable to see him.
This revelation has sparked reactions among followers of the preacher, many of whom see it as a sign of divine protection.
