Pastor Abioye shared the news on Monday evening through his official X (formerly Twitter) account. He announced that beginning May 4, Sunday services will now be held in the morning at 8:00 AM.

“Exciting news! By the grace of God, starting next Sunday, our service is moving to the morning, 8:00am. It’s a new day for you — come ready to be blessed mightily in Jesus’ name,” he posted.

He also encouraged his followers, saying, “Mark your calendars, set your alarms — we can’t wait to see you there! Tag someone you’re inviting!”

Before his retirement, Pastor David Abioye served as the Vice President of Winners Chapel. He and Bishop Thomas Aremu stepped down in October 2024 following a leadership policy update that set the retirement age at 55. At that time, Pastor Abioye was 63 years old, while Aremu was 67.

After retiring, Pastor Abioye started a non-denominational ministry that initially held services on Sunday evenings. However, in an update posted on April 27, he announced a major change: services will now take place every Sunday morning at 8:00 AM.

In his words, “Very important information. From next Sunday by the grace of God, our service is migrating to morning. Hallelujah. And the time is 8am. God bless you mightily in Jesus’ name.”
