A recent report indicates that Samsung plans to introduce the Galaxy S25 Edge on May 30 in the United States. This launch will follow the initial announcement in South Korea, which is set for May 13. The report also includes information about pre-order dates and anticipated pricing details.

Samsung initially hinted at the Galaxy S25 Edge during January’s Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event, where the S25, Plus, and Ultra models were also showcased. It captured attention at the Mobile World Congress in March, showcasing its ultra-slim design.

According to FNNews, Samsung will unveil the S25 Edge on May 13, 2025, through a modest online event rather than the large Unpacked event from January. The expected price range in the US could be between $1,099 and $1,199, or between 1.5 and 1.63 million KRW in South Korea.

The Galaxy S25 Edge will first be available in South Korea and China on May 23, with pre-orders taking place from May 14 to May 20. During the event on May 13, Samsung is expected to disclose the S25 Edge’s specifications, available colors, and pricing.

Thus, the Galaxy S25 Edge will launch in the US on May 30, after its release in Korea. This strategy appears to be an attempt to outpace Apple, which is planning to release the ultra-slim iPhone 17 Air in September, in the competition for thinner smartphones.
