Dressing Like Women Is Just for Comedy – Zicsaloma Debunks Crossdressing
Popular Nigerian skit maker and online comedian, Zicsaloma, has addressed claims that he is a crossdresser, saying he only dresses like a woman as part of his comedy.

In a recent interview, he made it clear that his female roles are just for laughs and not a reflection of his personal lifestyle.
Zicsaloma, who recently went to Turkey for a nose job and other facial improvements, strongly denied the rumours that he is promoting or practicing crossdressing in real life.
He explained that playing female characters is simply a comic style he has mastered, similar to how other comedians take on different roles to entertain their audience.

“I am not a crossdresser; I only dress like women for content. I don’t even wear makeup, not that I can’t do comedy without it. Mimicking females is my comic strength,” he said.
The Zicsaloma comedy skits often show him acting as different female characters, and while some fans find it funny, others have raised questions about his choice of roles.
Addressing these concerns, he asked if people also blame comedians who act like men from other tribes. He stressed that impersonating different types of people is common in comedy and shouldn’t be misunderstood.
“There are people who are good at mimicking different characters, like a typical Aboki man. Are you saying I influenced popular crossdressers? I don’t want to mention names of those who dress heavily as women to events in gowns” he said.
