Governor Radda, while sympathizing with the affected families, assured residents that his government would not allow such tragedies to continue.

He also instructed the Dutsinma Council Chairman to select five respected community members for a meeting to discuss how the state can support local security efforts as an extra layer of protection.

“After getting reports of the planned attack, security officers were sent to the village,” Radda said. “Unfortunately, the attackers struck shortly after the security team left.”

He encouraged villagers to stay alert and help identify those secretly aiding the bandits, stressing that strong community involvement is vital in the fight against insecurity.

During the visit, the governor was welcomed by local leaders, including the lawmaker representing Dutsinma in the Katsina State Assembly, Mohammad Khamis; the District Head of Yandakan Katsina, Alhaji Sada Sada; Council Chairman Kabir Shema; and other officials.
