Nigerian Woman Slams Church for Selling “Fruit of Life” Cherry to Her Mother for ₦1,000
A Nigerian woman has stirred up social media after accusing a church of selling her mother a single cherry fruit for ₦1,000, claiming it was the “fruit of life.”
In a TikTok video that quickly went viral, the lady shared her frustration and disbelief. She appeared on camera, holding the small cherry while explaining that her mother had bought it at a church service.
According to her, the fruit was sold at the gathering for ₦1,000 under the label “fruit of life.”
“Tell me why my mother would go to church and they’ll sell this thing for ₦1,000 to her—fruit of life?” she asked in disbelief.
Clearly upset, she continued, “What is wrong with Africa and this religion thing? They’ve really brainwashed you people.”
