The pastor’s comment was captured in a video that has since gone viral, stirring up heated conversations online. In the video, Pastor Ibiyeomie issued a clear warning to content creators, urging them to stay away from writing or reporting anything about him.

In response, Verydarkman took to his social media platform to criticize the pastor’s comments, accusing him of trying to misuse his influence to intimidate people. He challenged the idea that anyone should be arrested simply for talking about a public figure online.

Speaking directly, the activist said:

“I know you travel around the world, have you seen anybody using police to lock up people? That means you are using your influence now to say that you can use the police to oppress. You can’t try this in other countries because those police would do their investigations. You cannot command police to do anything whether you are influential or not. That is why I say even the pastors follow spoil the country, but people don’t understand what I was saying. Nobody dey fear you. Who are you that we will fear, are you not a human being?”

His bold words sparked even more reactions across social media, with many Nigerians sharing their thoughts on the matter. While some supported Pastor Ibiyeomie, many others echoed Verydarkman’s concern about freedom of speech and abuse of power.
