Benue Killings: Catholic Faithful Hold Prayer Walk for Peace in Benue State
Catholic believers across Benue State came together on Thursday for a prayer walk for peace in Benue State, asking God to bring an end to the rising violence in the region.

The prayerful procession was sparked by recent attacks, especially the deadly incident in Yelwata, Guma Local Government Area, where several lives were lost. The faithful also prayed for the souls of those who died in the ongoing crisis.
The peaceful walk drew a large number of people from different parishes. Priests, religious leaders, and lay members took part in the event, walking through the streets, holding placards, singing hymns, and offering heartfelt prayers.

The prayer walk continues across different parts of the state as more people join in to raise their voices in faith and hope for a safer and more peaceful Benue.
