Breaking: Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Gets ONE UI 8.0 Beta 2 Update: Here Are The Major Changes

Samsung has begun rolling out the One UI 8.0 Beta 2 update for the Galaxy S25 series. The ZYF3 build is being released for the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra in South Korea, with additional eligible markets expected to follow soon.

One UI 8.0 Beta 2 is based on the valuable insights received from Beta testers. Samsung has considered various reports and suggestions for developing this firmware to resolve many issues not listed in the update changelog.

This marks the second OTA for Galaxy S25 users participating in the Beta Program since late May. Samsung has delivered it with necessary bug fixes and functional enhancements. After installation, Galaxy users can look forward to a more dependable experience.

Samsung One UI 8.0 Beta 2 – What’s new  

New feature: Samsung’s changelog indicates that the Beta 2 update includes a user feedback feature designed to improve interpretation performance throughout the Beta Program.

Significant updates/improvements: The problem affecting Now Brief text alignment has been resolved, allowing Galaxy S25 users to enjoy a more consistent text layout and interface.

Bug fixes: The latest software addresses numerous bugs, including issues with the battery widget icon, lock screen widget sizing, failures in fingerprint unlocking, and enhancements to the Secure Folder’s biometric authentication.

Bluetooth calls in vehicles should now maintain the correct volume without unexpected drops. Notifications during gaming will now produce sound as intended.

Once again, the Galaxy AI weather and time wallpapers are functioning correctly. The gesture navigation issue has been fixed, preventing swipes from getting stuck. The Air Command icon will no longer vanish when the S Pen is detached. Writing on Naver blogs has become more stable, eliminating crashes.

KakaoTalk notifications will no longer continuously repeat the same message. Alarms in the Clock app now ring reliably following beta updates. Additionally, apps like the camera have received stability improvements for a better user experience.

How to install the Beta 2?  

Samsung users enrolled in the Beta Program can manually install the OTA. To check for the OTA, go to your phone’s Settings menu, select the Software update section, and tap Download and Install to start the updating process.
