Nigerian music star Daddy Showkey recently opened up about the incredible support he received from Fuji musician Alabi Pasuma during a tough time.

While performing at a celebrity event, Daddy Showkey shared a moving story about how Pasuma helped him and his family when Showkey was recovering from a serious accident. This heartfelt moment was captured in a video that has gained much attention online.

Daddy Showkey had a serious accident in 2007 that left him in the hospital for three years. During those difficult years, he described Pasuma as his only source of support in the music industry.

While many of his fellow musicians avoided him or refused to help, Pasuma ensured that Showkey’s family was cared for.

Daddy Showkey expressed with emotion how much Pasuma’s kindness meant to him. He contrasted this with his disappointment in others, who wouldn’t even meet him when he needed help.

He recalled, “This man stood by me during good and bad times. Many people haven’t seen me for years because of the accident in 2007.

I was in the hospital for three years, and Pasuma was the one taking care of my family. I can never forget what he did for me.

When I recovered, I tried to visit others, but they wouldn’t let me in. Some even said they weren’t home, even though I knew they were inside,” Showkey shared.

This touching story highlights the importance of true friendship and support during difficult times, especially in an industry that often feels competitive and unkind.
