Katsina Youths Stage Protest in Support of Iran Amid Iran-Israel Tensions (VIDEO)

In a surprising turn of events, a group of young people in Katsina State, Nigeria, recently held a street protest to show their support for Iran.

At the same time, they voiced strong disapproval of United States President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The protest, which quickly went viral on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), comes amid ongoing tensions between Iran and Israel—a conflict in which the United States is believed to be backing Israel.

According to posts shared online, the youths were seen marching through the streets with a huge banner. The banner featured an image of Iran’s Supreme Leader and a map of Iran, symbolizing their support for the country.

Interestingly, the same banner had pictures of Trump and Netanyahu, but both images were crossed out, showing clear rejection of their roles in the conflict.

A short video clip from the protest showed a large crowd, mostly young people, walking together in solidarity. Their chants and signs were meant to express loyalty to Iran and disapproval of Western influence in Middle Eastern affairs.

The online community had mixed reactions to the demonstration. While some users mocked the protesters, others expressed worry about the choice of focus, especially considering the security issues within Katsina State.
