Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Introduces ‘Spiritual ATM Card’ to Church Members

A Nigerian pastor, Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin, has sparked reactions online after unveiling what he calls a “Spiritual ATM Card” during a church service.

The controversial item is reportedly being sold for $20 (about ₦30,000), and the prophet claims it carries special spiritual benefits.

In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter) by user @ChuksEricE, the preacher is seen holding the card while addressing his congregation. He compared the Spiritual ATM Card to a regular bank card, but emphasized that his version offers spiritual power and blessings instead of money.

“The way you use your ATM card to withdraw cash, that’s how this one works in the spiritual realm,” Prophet Omoto told his church members, drawing their attention to the supposed significance of the card.

The crowd listened closely as he passionately explained the purpose of the card, saying it could bring solutions to people’s problems through divine intervention.

The video also captured a close-up of the card, revealing its price—$20. While some members of the audience appeared eager and excited, many online users were left confused and skeptical about the idea.

On social media, reactions have been mixed. Some viewers questioned whether a “spiritual ATM card” aligns with biblical teachings, while others criticized the commercialization of faith. One user commented, “So now you need a $20 card to connect to God?” Another wrote, “This is just another way to take advantage of desperate people.”

Despite the backlash, supporters of the prophet argue that the card is a faith tool for believers, not a scam. They believe that just like anointing oil or prayer handkerchiefs, the card is a symbol of faith that can inspire hope and miracles.
